Her toes

As of lately Annabel as this obsession with grabbing her toes and rubbing the bottom of her foot whenever she can. She will reach for it when she is in a sitting postion, she will but her leg up over her other one so she can reach it better, she will actually bend at the waist and reach down for her feet when she is in her chair or sitting in a postion where she is higher then her feet. It is the cutest thing and she will sit there for the longest time rubbing her foot!

Therapy

The other morning I took Annabel to her PT session (Physical Therapy). She did so amazing! I have never ever seen her do that good in therapy! She laid on her stomach and would lift her head up and push up with her hands (she is not a fan of tummy time), she did so good on all fours (we are working on putting her in the crawling postion to strengthen muscles), and then she walked better then I have ever seen her walk! (with assistance of course) I literally felt my heart swell up with pride, I was so unbelievably proud of Annabel! I can't even explain the feeling! I wanted to just hug her and cry happy tears because of her strength and endurance in life! I am so proud of her and I love her more everyday!

The Sun is Shining!

The sun is finally coming out and staying out, the weather has been warm and I think spring is on the way! I love being outside and I love that the weather is getting warm enough to take Bella out!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY

Today sweet amazing Annabel turned 5 years old! What an amazing miracle! She has defied all odds and gone against statistics and doctors! She is definitely "God's precious gift who is heaven sent".. I am so honored and privlidged to be here with her everyday! Annabel's birthday celebrations began when we woke her up for school this morning, she got sang happy birthday to by her sisters while she bathed and by Cathy and I just before she went to school, at school she was greeted by MANY birthday wishes and got to share cupcakes with her friends. Following school I took her to therapy where she recieved many more birthday wishes and got to do what she "wanted" to do instead of what the Ms C would normally have her do because, "hey a girl has to get her way on her birthday!" Then it was home for a nap and time to get ready for her big night. When the princess woke up and was dressed in her party dress the evening began, some close friends, therapists, teachers and family all came to celebrate the amazing miracle of Annabel turning 5! We had lots of yummy food, cake, and cookies, Bella of course got spoiled with lots of gifts, smiles, and hugs! She was so cute and fun all night! She loved being the center of attention, being sang to, being held by everyone, opening her presents, eating frosting, and she loved her balloons! Her long party day wore her out and she passed out the minute she hit her pillow (an hour past her bedtime!:)..) She really is an amazing miracle and now we tell her she is a "whole handful! No more putting fingers down". She has touched the lives of so many and it is because of thier prayers and faith that have helped her get this far. I love you my Beautiful Bella Bean! Thank you for changing my life and I can't wait to celebrate many more birthday's with you!
(sorry the pictures are in no special order!)

My Family

I decided that I want to do a post on my family and the individual people that make it the best family in the world! I am one very blessed girl!

My Dad
My dad is the toughest, strongest, hardest working person I know. I am so grateful for all that he has done for our family and continues to do. Ever since I was a little girl I have been 100% a daddy's girl! It use to drive me crazy that he was so "over protecive" of me and non of the other kids, but secretly I love it! I love how he calls almost daily just to check on his "baby". He has the best sense of humor and doesn't get mad he gets even, growing up with him as a dad you learn how to always get back at someone, stay "ahead" of the next person, laugh at things and get laughed at. He really is the greatest daddy a kid could ask for and I love him so much!

My Mom
My mom and I have never been the closest ( she says we are to much alike, something I hated every time she said it) but you know what?! I am so proud and honored to be like my mommy! I love how our relationship has grown into a friendship and how we are getting closer as time goes by. I have found that I call her daily, half the time with nothing important to say, I just want to talk to my mom. I am so proud of her for going back to school and getting straight A's and really excelling while still being a great mom. She is pretty funny herself and is always laughing at someone or something. She has taught me to stand up for myself and has taught me I have my own voice and has stood beside me as I have gone though some tough times. I am grateful to have her as a mom and love her so much!

My Brother KP
Growing up my brother KP and I either hated eachother, or loved eachother at someone else's expense. We were always the 2 that got the other siblings to "do" stuff or give us thier stuff. We loved playing jokes on them ( mainly our sister ).. I love that as we have gotten older I can go to him with questions, that we actually hang out and do stuff cuz we want to and that we are friends. I am proud of him and all that he does! It is so much fun to see him as a dad and with his own little family. KP is the one who never knew when to stop and would tease and bug you til you cried but I learned some pretty good "tricks" from him! I love him and love being his little sister

My Sister KS
KS and I have become such good friends as we have gotten older and I love it! I love that I can call my sister my friend. We are as different as night and day but we have learned to live with that and move on. She is one that I can act so stupid and silly around and we will just laugh for hours til we are literally crying. She has been such a great example to me and is an awesome role model! She has taught me to go after your dreams and not settle. I am so proud of her for going through college and accomplishing her dream of being a special ed teacher. She is definatly the smarts and devoted one out of us and I love how she is rubbing off on me. I couldn't have asked for a better sister and I am grateful to her for putting up with me for all those years ( heck she still puts up with me). I love KS and all that she is

My Brother K
My brother K passed away as an infant but has always been part of our family. We celebrate his birthday every year, have pictures of him everywhere in the house and talk about him daily. Although I never had the chance of meeting him I am so grateful and and honored to be his little sister. He has taught me so much and I have learned so many things from just having him in my life. I know that he is always with us and I literally would not be where I am today if it wasn't for him. I miss him so much and can't wait for the day I get to see him again. I love you more then words can say! Thanks for always being my guardian angel

My Little Brother KJ
KJ and I have alwasy been super close and have always been close friends. Growing up him and I would do alot together and that continued into high school where we were "best friends". He is a funny, fun, free spirited kid who takes after me. Him and I were always the two in the family that would do what we wanted when we wanted to. I am proud of him and all that he is over coming. He hasn't let life stop him or get him down and he continues to "fight" in good old KJ style! He has kept us on our toes and keeps us "young". I love seeing him as a dad and the love that he has for his little boy. He truely has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen! I love him and love being his sister and friend.

My Little Brother KD
I am so proud of KD and all that he has done. He has stood strong to what he believes and hasn't fallen. KD is the artist in the family and growing up you always saw him with paper, crayons, paint or something in his hands. He is so in love with Disney and I absolutely love how he becomes such a little kid again when we are at disneyland or when his new favorite movie comes out. He was always the one I could still be a "kid" with when I was much to old to be acting like one. I love how he comes to me when it comes to girls ( how to ask them to dances, how to propose, what he thinks and feels, etc) I love that I am his older sister and that he comes to me and shows me all his accomplishments no matter how small. I love KD and am very proud of him

My Youngest Brother KA
Although KA is the youngest he is by far the tallest in the family. KA is one of the funniest people I have ever met! Ever since he was little he could get the whole room laughing with very little effort on his part. He literally can say one word or stand, sit, walk a certain way and it will have you laughing for hours. He is such a fun kid to be around and I am so proud to be his older sister. I think he has grown into such an amazing young man and it is fun to watch him continue to grow. I love spending time with him and doing things, we laugh literally the whole time. It is wierd to see my baby brother as my handsom tall little brother but I love him and what he is becoming!

My sister in law L
KP and L got married almost 3 years ago and I love having her as part of our family. It has been fun to add another person into our crazy mix who fits there perfectly. I love how we are friends (I did know her before the 2 of them met) and how we have made our own little "Sister in Law" traditions. It is fun to hang out with her, we always have something to talk about or something to laugh at. I am so grateful that she is part of our family and I love her

My sister in law K
KD proposed to K on christmas and they are getting married next month. She is practially already family since they have been together for a couple years and she is over at the house like every day! I love her and can't wait for it to become official. I love hanging out with her and we have so much fun. It is awesome to have a little sister! I also like that we have made our own "sister in law" traditions and I am very grateful to have her as part of our family.

My gorgeous niece A ( daugher of KP and L)
My niece is so funny! This kid comes up with the most random things all the time that just leave you laughing. I love how girly she is and that she likes to do stuff with her aunt. We are 2 peas in a pod and I am so in love with her. We have so much fun doing anything and we usually laugh the whole time we are together. I am so proud of her and all that she is becoming. It is so much fun to watch her grow ( although she better slow down!) I love my baby girl and am so proud of her.

My nephew J ( son of KP and L)
Little J is so cute and funny. I can't believe how fast he has grown and how funny such a little boy can be. He keeps us all on our toes and laughing, he is a pretty busy kid. I love him and am so proud of him. The poor little guy has had he's share of bumps and sicknesses but that doesn't slow this little guy down at all! He is so fun to be around and it is so much fun to watch him grow and learn new things all the time! I love my little bubbers so much!

My nephew A ( son of KJ)
Little A is so stinking cute! I can't believe how big he is! where did the baby go? I love being his aunt and watching him learn new things! He is such a little fighter and is a very strong little boy with a big spirit! He is such a cuddely little guy who loves to be held and I love holding him! I love my little peanut and am so proud of him and I hope he continues to be the strong fighter he is!
