DC Temple Trip

Last weekend the RS went on a trip to DC to go to the Washington DC Temple.. It was so much fun! We left Friday and that evening we went to a musical concert then walked around the grounds and looked at all the Christmas lights. We then went and got dinner then we went to the 2 different houses where we were staying for the night.. We had the most amazing host who greeted us with this most amazing dessert! We had such a fun night of dressing up and air mattress gymnastics, talking and laughing! It was so much fun! The next morning we went back to the temple to watch a movie, walk around more and take more pictures. We then started our journey home, the car ride home was so much fun! Full of 3 husband choices, making up our own songs and loads of laughter!! It was such an amazing weekend! I am so glad I got to go and got to know so many amazing girls! It was the BEST weekend!! I think we need to make it a tradition.

Life in VA

Things are going great here in Virginia.. I am absolutely loving it! I have a great job that I love! I have a great ward! I have some amazing friends! I start school next month and I just moved into an apartment two days ago. Life is going great and I couldn't be happier ( well if family was here it would make it better.) But I am very blessed and very lucky! Life is going great and I am one blessed girl!

We decided to do family pictures on Sunday up in the canyon with all the leaves that have changed colors. I think the turned out great!! I absolutely love my family and I am grateful for every one of them!! I can't believe how quickly everyone grows up!!

Going to Virginia

Well ever since I got back to Utah my back has not bothered me alot and my doctors don't want to do surgery again; I am so happy about this! It is a herniated disc but we have other things we will do it if bothers me again. I can't help but think God had to throw that bump in my road to open so many new doors I wouldn't have been facing if it weren't for this. I have been offered a job in Virginia and I head out there tomorrow. I am so excited as I think it will be great for me and there is a huge university in the city that I am really hoping I can get into so I can do school for nursing.. I am excited for this new path life is taking me and I hope I can enjoy the ride!

Back in Texas

For the past 2 months I was down in Texas helping one friend with her kids while her husband was out of town, one friend with wedding stuff and just hanging out and seeing everyone. It has been a fun 2 months! We went to the lake, spent many weekends in the pool, many playdates at the park or chick fil a, getting pedicures and manicures, lunch with friends, babysitting, seeing loved ones and hanging out! It was fun to spend so much time with my dear friend D I am sure her kids got sick of me being there 24/7 but I loved getting to spend so much time with them! I don't think I took many pictures but I had so much fun getting to see so many old friends and meet so many new ones!!

Katy Perry

For my birthday my parents gave me tickets to go see Katy Perry my sister and sister in law went with me to the concert. It was so much fun! She put on an amazing show! She knows how to perform and it was so great to spend time with a couple of my sisters!

Chicago!!

I had the great opportunity to attend the S.O.F.T conference this year in Chicago. I absolutely love going to the conferences! It is so much fun to see everyone, catch up on things, hang out, play with all the angels, and feel at home in our big family! I got to attend the welcome dinner which is always a hit, then of course the picnic, balloon release and auction like every year. A few friends and I went down the the pier where we walked around and just had lots of fun! There were so many new families and it was great to meet them and their angels! I absolutely love S.O.F.T and being a part of it! My brother changed my life so much in his short 52 hours here on earth! Before we left we were able to meet up with the C family in downtown Chicago for some real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza!! YUMMY!!! I had such a great time and can't wait til the next conference!!
