Trisomy 18

I have a brother who was born with Trisomy 18 and returned back to heaven after 52 hours here on earth. I was born 1 year after him so I personally didn't get the chance to meet him here. However my parents have made sure he is part of our family there are many picture of him up throughout our house and my parents talk about him all the time. We are also part of a parent support group called S.O.F.T. (support organization for Trisomy 18, 13 and other related disorders.) Blue Man Group

On saturday I took my dad to see the blue man group. It was a really cool show to watch but it was even better being with just my daddy!

Hannah Montana/Mylie Cyrus

For Christmas I bought a couple of little girls tickets to the Hannah Montana/Mylie Cyrus concert tour 3-D movie tickets. (we were unable to get to the real concert) The concert was tonight and it actually was alot of fun! It was really cool to see a concert in 3-D because you see stuff you'd never see and they added some backstage stuff so it was really cool. I love that we have such a sweet, uplifting role model for the girls these days! It was a ton of fun!

California Cake

I have helped out with many birthday parties and I have absolutely loved it. So I decided that I would completely do my nieces birthday party from the planning to the invitations to the games to the decorations to the cake making. So tonight I decided to do a trail run. The cake I made was in the shape of Mickey's head and M&M's spelled out California and the initials of my roommates, our friend and me. We are going on a road trip to Cali over spring break and so I'm getting everyone pimped up!

A million questions

I have recently found myself with the million questions of a child running thru my head.. Why does god allow bad thing to happen to good people and good things happen to bad people? Where is heaven? What's after this? What is true? What am I supposed to do with my future? What road do I take? Is there only one way? I have been learning about a lot of science stuff lately which I must say has added to my thinking.. Evolution has scientific proof, it's got evidence to back it up, is this the truth? The big bang theory it makes sense! Why are we here? Is there really a God? If so why does he allow certain things to happen? Who am i? So many questions I don't know what to do... Pondering...

Favorite Movie and Book

I have seen the movie PS I Love you 3 times and it is the best movie ever!! I recommend it to everyone and anyone! If you need someone to go with you I'm totally your girl!

First of all I have to say that I am NOT a reader, the only books I ever read were the ones that you are forced to read in school and none of them were over 300 pages long.. Well I started reading a new series; Twilight.. I absolutely love them! I read the first one (500 pages big pat on the back for me!) and I am on the 2nd one. They are such a great series and I'm stressing out about trying to find time to read them between school and work full time plus all of the other day to day tasks.. (I know it's weird me wanting to read!) Pick up the books they are awesome!

Addi is one month old

Tomorrow will be one month since my best friends beautiful precious angel Addi left this world. It's hard to believe that is has been a month already and it's been a really tough one. I Love you Casie and you will see your perfect little girl again! She is always in my heart and I think of you guys often!
